Covers up to 50% of Interior and Exterior Home Improvement Costs
This program is designed to encourage homeowners to invest in their homes through renovation projects that improve the curb appeal, functionality, and marketability of their homes by offering a financial partnership in the form of forgivable loans/grants.
Stormwater Best Management Practices Rebate Program
Covers Rain Barrels, Rain Gardens, Soil Quality Restoration, Native Landscaping
This program helps enhance the water quality of stormwater runoff, decrease the amount of stormwater runoff that ends up in the storm drainage system, and repurpose the energy and nutrients of stormwater for healthier soils and landscaping. The City will reimburse property owners 50% of the total cost of their project, with a reimbursement limit of $2000, provided the project and property owner meets the requirements of the program.
Polk County Weatherization Assistance
Covers Heating & Cooling Efficiency of your Home (includes Renters)
This program provides services to homeowners and renters residing in Polk County to assist with reducing energy usage and energy bills. The Weatherization Assistance Program takes an in-depth look into the several health/safety items, air infiltration, insulation value, mechanical system and appliance performance, along with lighting and water saving measures at your home.
